There a few decades, paper theaters were very popular as children's toys, and most adults too.

I mounted one of the "Familie Illustreret Journals" in 1924 (a newspaper dannois). The boards are available through the Agency Eureka (which is a gold mine for all old buildings paper), here.

Yesterday full day ...

A trip on the last day of Book Fair Montreuil. We had lunch with
Anaïs, and crossed some illustrators as Chadia . By
cons this year, we have not seen Leonie .
We even crossed a musician straddling the Surnatural Orchestra and Quincailler .

And then in the evening, we went to the theater, still in Montreuil, see a great Shakespearean play "As You Like It", superbly performed by the Company Barbès.
With a musical setting of Roudoudou , halfway between pop, country and old English ...
